“Les Lys” vineyard is within the” Vaillons” 1er cru appellation, but the older vines produce a more opulent, mineral and complex wine.

The most underrated grape and a personal favourite. This serious food wine has been consistently rated as the best unoaked chenin blanc of South Africa. A most complex, elegant and unusual wine (well deserving an extra line!)

Rias baixas , Casal Caeiro, 2007, Spain	750ml	£26.95
From Galicia, the traditional (and most widely drunk) accompaniment of shellfish in Spain. This is a very clean, light and aromatic wine.

Gruner Veltliner, Kamptaler Ter., Brundmayer, 2007, Austria	750ml	£27.95
Peppery and mineral yet fresh and easy drinking with pear and white fruit notes, Veltliner deserves a little more recognition than its perennial fashionable status.

Viognier “Coquelicot”, Chateau Routas, 2007, France	750ml	£34.95
